New office art on the right: #TheArtofOptimisim @Time magazine special issue cover by @nelsonmakamo A reminder for me personally of the importance of optimism and also, in the spirit of the painting, that in an era of hopelessness and despair, a “vision of a limitless future” is possible!
Hold of on a bunch of roses, how cute is this mini bunch of scotch bonnet chilli peppers. We grew this from seed from a pepper we got at a plant swap. It’s self-seeded in another spot in the garden. Not as prolific as the peppadew but I love it just the same. #happyvalentinesday #gardengifts #myjoburgfooddiary #instaplants #instagarden #scotchbonnetpepper
While I do LOVE chocolate nothing beats this glorious, sweet and spicy gifts from the garden on #valentinesday. Hooray for our Sweet piquanté pepper tree that has made a massive comeback in its second year of life. We also have a few scotch bonnet chilli peppers. We do so love our little urban food garden #myjoburgfooddiary #peppadew #sweetpiquantépeppers #cherrypeppers #scotchbonnet #scotchbonnetpepper #urbanfoodgarden #instaplants #instagarden #gardenblogger #foodblogger
Tea for in the balcony garden. My cup (on the left) was my first ever birthday gift from my love @j_a_carpentry. We’d only been together for a few months but already he knew me so well. Years later I got him the one on the right. We love our loose leaf teas and these cups are just perfect for them. #teacup #chineseteapot #herbaltea #looseleaftea #myjoburgfooddiary #tea #teatime
