#Tbt to watching a cackle of hyenas at sunrise. The cubs peeked out of a culvert at one point on the way to Transport dam at the #krugernationalpark #takemeback #takemebacktokruger #hyena #hyenas #wildlife @sanparks @sanparksknp #safari #meetsouthafrica @meetsouthafrica
Thinking back to sunrise walks in the bush. This morning we woke up at home to the sounds of hadedas and traffic. Wish we could be back in the wilderness instead #krugernationalpark #sanparks @sanparksknp @sanparks #sunrise #chasingsunrise #instasunrise
Just returned to Joburg from my first trip to the #krugernationalpark What an experience, so much to share in the next few days.... This photo was taken after we just arrived at the Napi tented camp - our base for the next two days of wilderness trails in the bush. On our first night we drank Amarula around the fire; looked up to the Milky Way; saw a shooting star; listened to the tummy rumbling of an elephant bull outside the camp and lions calling out for each other in the distance. #krugerpark #wildnernesstrail #sanparks @sanparks #wildlife #safari
The week in thrifty fashion! Back in the day I spent a fair amount of time in 2nd hand clothing stores at home and abroad. This week I wore some of my old thrift store and upcycled favourites to work: like my painted flying duck skirt from the old Wits Hospice store on Louis Botha; a grey blazer from a thrift store in Manhattan; a black shift stretch dress from a thrift market on Ulleung island in South Korea; my Gran’s long black jersey; an old brass bangle from a thrift stall at the Stables market in Durban; and my red satin sash belt that my clever mom @clemmibothma made for me out of an old worn dress I loved too much to throw out completely. I guess this style would be called sentimental 😂 #thriftstorefinds #vintage #previouslyworn #upcycledclothing #secondhand #thriftshopping #prismacolor
Lighting up instead of blowing out the birthday candles! Ever since my brother and I both moved from Durban and Joburg we make a point of celebrating birthdays together, even if it’s a few days later. Thank you @brandobothma @cait_penny for the 🍩🍩🍩
Dinner with my brother and future sister-in-law. Can’t wait for your big day guys!!! ❤️
